I’m Brittany, founder and lead planner of Brittany S Events.

Before starting Brittany S Events, I spent more than 15 years in hospitality and events - from resort management and food and beverage to catering, sales, marketing, florals, venue operations and wedding planning.

That experience shaped the way I approach weddings today: the design matters, but so does how the entire celebration actually works and feels.

I’m thinking about the beautiful tablescape and how guests move through the room. The perfectly timed ceremony and what’s happening behind the scenes to make it feel effortless. The details you’ll notice and plenty you hopefully never have to.

Because a beautiful wedding is one thing. A beautifully planned wedding that your guests genuinely love being part of? That’s the goal.

WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK TOGETHER

I’m Type-A about the details without making the process feel Type-A.

You can expect honest guidance, clear communication and someone who will tell you when an idea is great - and when I think there’s a better way to do it.

I’ll keep track of the moving pieces, ask the questions you didn’t know needed asking and help you make decisions that make sense for your priorities, your guests and the way you actually want your wedding to feel.

I take the responsibility seriously.

I just don’t think we need to take ourselves seriously the entire time.

There will be spreadsheets. There will also be plenty of laughing along the way.

My background in hospitality has taught me to see weddings differently.

I’m not only looking at what photographs beautifully. I’m thinking about what your guests experience from the moment they arrive until the last song plays.

Where do they go? What do they need? Is the bar accessible? Does dinner service flow? Is Grandma comfortable? Can vendors actually execute what we've designed? What happens if the weather changes?

Those behind-the-scenes details may not be the things you pin to your inspiration board, but they're often what separate a beautiful wedding from an exceptional experience.

Good design gets noticed. Great hospitality gets felt.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

When I’m not planning weddings, I’m usually with my husband and our two little ones at home in New Hampshire.

I love a beautifully set table, a great restaurant, a really good margarita and any excuse to have people over. I’m naturally organized, perpetually making a list and firmly believe that the best celebrations feel elevated without ever feeling stuffy.

I love what I do, but I also understand that your wedding isn't about your wedding planner.

It's about the two of you, the people you love and creating an experience you'll actually want to be present for.

My job is to make sure you can be.
